Like, I was so completely taken by the entire concept of the book, I thought about it constantly when I was reading it. Which is why I feel like clobbering myself because words can’t really describe how much I loved A Thousand Pieces of You. Even when A Thousand Pieces of You first released in 2014, but I don’t know why – I might have to club myself for this – I never thought of picking it up. I’ve seen Claudia Gray’s new series around for some time now. And soon she discovers the truth behind her father’s death is far more sinister than she expected. Before long she begins to question Paul’s guilt as well as her own heart. But she also meets alternate versions of the people she knows-including Paul, whose life entangles with hers in increasingly familiar ways. So she races after Paul through different universes, always leaping into another version of herself. Marguerite refuses to let the man who destroyed her family go free. But then Marguerite’s father is murdered, and the killer-her parent’s handsome, enigmatic assistant Paul- escapes into another dimension before the law can touch him. Their most astonishing invention, called the Firebird, allows users to jump into multiple universes-and promises to revolutionize science forever. Marguerite Caine’s physicist parents are known for their groundbreaking achievements.
